Aero Glass required no additional programs for Windows XP. It ran directly from the Aero Glass theme, without a need to install any third-party application. It did that by using the xaml that is contained with the theme. The xaml file that is responsible for Aero Glass is called AeroGlass.xaml. The Aero Glass theme can be applied by selecting Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Themes.
